Copper-nickel bright bars consist of approximately 90 percent Cu and 10 percent Ni with small amounts of Fe and Mn for enhancing mechanical properties. The alloy displays excellent strength with a tensile strength in the range of 550–700 MPa with good elongation in the range of 30–40%. The yield strength ranges from 200 to 400 MPa depending on the particular alloy and processing.
